Welcome to Hsiuping University of Science and Technology!
In recent years, due to increased international interactions, the number of foreign students studying at our university has shown a rapid growth trend. In order to strengthen the guidance and care for international students, and to align with the government’s initiative to promote international education policies, as well as to assist international students in adapting to the learning environment in Taiwan, our university established the “Office of International Affairs” in the academic year 2022.
Office of International Affairs (Located in C0202): Aiming to provide a stable harbor for the hearts of international students crossing the sea, in the vast ocean, to find a secure port for anchorage.
The Office provides the following life guidance and care for international students:
1. Registration, admission, and life guidance for international students.
2. Assistance in handling overseas student insurance, residence permits, work permits, health insurance, and visa renewal.
3. Extracurricular Mandarin tutoring - Offering free Mandarin tutoring classes to enhance students’ Mandarin proficiency.
4. International student exchange activity plans and cross-cultural characteristic activities.
5. International Student Lounge (under construction) - International student counseling and assistance to help foreign students quickly integrate into campus life.
