Since the 2018 academic year, our university has established the predecessor of the Office of International Affairs, the International College. The purpose of its establishment is to integrate the existing hardware and software facilities on campus, strengthen the international vision of the administrative team, promote the effectiveness of Chinese language tutoring, construct a counseling system for international students, and cultivate students with five core competencies: professional competence, cross-disciplinary capability, innovation, teamwork, and service. This aims to promote our university to become a technical and vocational college that is a model for training international industrial talents.
The Office of International Affairs has established an International Exchange Center, which is dedicated to enhancing the international reputation of our university and strengthening the overall international competitiveness of the entire school. It actively engages in international activities and related affairs, such as establishing sister school partnerships, signing dual degree programs, facilitating faculty and student exchanges, organizing international workshops and competitions, and signing cooperation and exchange agreements with many overseas universities.
The center concretely implements international academic exchanges, promotes sister school exchange programs for faculty and students, expands overseas international academic exchanges and collaborative efforts, encourages university students to pursue dual degrees across borders, and encourages all faculty and students to participate in international visits and short-term exchange activities.
